Manu Park Program 8D/7N (Survival)* The program can change according to the weather, river conditions and wishes of the group. Day 1: Cusco - Pilcopata.We leave from Cusco by private bus, first stopping to visit the pre Inca burial towers of Ninamarca. We then drive through the mountains, to get to the typical and folkloric town of Paucartambo; here we will take a short walk around the town before carrying on the Tres Cruces, the highest point and entrance to Manu National Park. From here we will continue into the cloud forest and to San Pedro, we will walk for around 1hour to observe the National Bird of Peru, the cock of the rock, and many different kinds of monkeys, plants and flowers. We arrive in Pilcopata at the evening where we will sleep in a local lodge. Day 2: Pilcopata – Palotoa.After breakfast we will continue by private bus to Atalaya. On the way we will stop to observe a coca plantation, we will also stop at a view point where you can get a good overview of the jungle and river. From Atalaya we leave by motorized boat to Aguas Calientes, where you can bath in the nature hot springs. In the afternoon we will return river up till Palotoa, stopping to visit the native communities' shintuya on the way, in the afternoon will walk in the jungle hours in order to appreciate the many different kind of animals, birds, plants and flowers. If we are lucky we will see monkeys. In the evening we will to visit oxbow lake for catch caimans till dinner time and them we will come back to the campsite for dinner and sleep on in tents in Palotoa camp site close to the Alto Madre de Dios River. Day 3: Palotoa – Inchipato.After breakfast, we will go to expedition to the Inchipato River, where, on the way we will appreciate a pristin jungle and many kinds of the animals in their natural environment and different kinds of the flowers, medicinal plants, etc. spend the 3 night. Day 4: Inchipato River.After breakfast we will walk for several hours you will go to fishing in this river and will enjoy a good swim in the afternoon, in the evening we will going to catching caiman, were we make our camping in the close to river for spend 4 night. Day 5: Inchipato – Palotoa River.After breakfast, then we will explore in the trail, we will appreciated all flora and fauna till Palotoa river, were you will visit in the evening clay lick mammals, after that we Will return our camping. The 5 night. Day 6: Palotoa River – Native Comunitive of Palotoa.This day after breakfast we will walk several our till Native Community. Were you will make our camping and in the morning you visit the community and them walk more on the way in the after you will return by balsa raft our campsite. Day 7: Palotoa Salvacion Lake.This day you will return alto Madre Dios River till salvacion lake were will to see the pre-historic Hoatzin bird pre history birds and the ride balsa raft full afternoon and them will return our camping in the evening make bum fire for make BQQ. Here we will be our last camping close to river Madre de Dios. Day 8: Salvacion - Cusco.This day get up early in the morning for will to visit to clay lick Parrot, After Breakfast we will return to Atalaya by boat where our private bus will be waiting to take us back to Cusco. We return to Cusco via the cloud forest and Paucartambo. We will arrive back in Cusco in the late afternoon. Tour includes.
