About Us
Jungle Persa is a company with new ideas and experienced in the field ecotourism.We offer direct trips to Manu and can make your dreams come true by taking you to the real and untouched Amazon Jungle. Our company specialises in organizing short tours and personalised excursions within the jungle, our aim being to show the beauty and magnitude of the rainforest.
Our expeditions take place in the heart of Manu National Park.
On our tours we offer visits to pre Inca ruins, fishing trips, tree climbing, information on medicinal plants, bird watching and survival courses.
Our staff is highly trained and aware of conserving ecosystems. Native bilingual speakers, fully qualified guides, professional cooks and coach/ boat drivers with plenty of experience are what make our company highly recommendable. For transport we have a private bus that goes through the valle sagrado and descends through the Andes in to the cloud forest. We embark on a comfortable journey by boat through the Alta Madre de Dios and the Madre de Dios rivers. Our trips our designed to suit our customers needs. Our short tours are 3 to 4 days long and our longer expeditions are 5 to 12 days long.
The safety of our clients is of utmost importance and we visit unspoiled areas of land at the centre of Manu National Park.

CLOTILDE CHOQUE HUAMANI
Manager.
Clotilde lives in PNM she studied travel and tourism and the institute of technology in Manu (2001-2003) She speaks English and has good knowledge of business administration and the fauna and flora of the rainforest.
Clotildes family own 12,000 hectares of unexploited land in the heart of Manu National Park, this area known as Bonanza.
ABEL PACORI CUTIPA
Tour Guide.
Abel lives in the PNM and is now working as guide in the jungle. Previously he studied travel and tourism at the institute of technology in Manu (1999-2001). Since completing his studies he has worked for various tourist companies around Cuzco as a guide. He speaks English and has experience on the flora and fauna of the rainforest. His family own private land in the Palotoa area which is why he became part of the Jungle Persa project.
WALBERTO CHOQUE HUAMANI
Boat Driver
Walberto, where he still resides in the rainforest of the PNM area his whole life. He learnt to drive boats at a young age and is now working for the Jungle Persa Company. Although currently learning English, he has excellent knowledge on rivers and the forest.
MOISES
Local Guide
Moises was born in the wilderness of the PNM area, where he still resides. Since his childhood he has worked in agriculture, fishing, hunting and gathering and has now joined Jungle Persa. Not only is he experienced in the fauna and flora of the jungle, but also speaks machiguenga the local language of the indigenous tribes which he can translate into Spanish.
THALIA.
Cook
Talia live in the city of Cuzco and study for ToursGuide now wprking with pur company in cooking. Her recopies vary from typical Peruvian dishes to more European style foods giving her plenty of knowledge which is why she became part of Jungle Persa.
